Dj MikeSki born Miguel Ponce Degracia a native of San Diego, Mikeski has been a staple or better yet a pioneer of the San Diego hip-hop scene since the early 80’s. He has transcended over the years from the days of break dancing into the millennium. His hip hop roots started as a producer for multiple local hip hop artists who strive to become some of the most sought after lyricists in town. Producing such acts as San Diego’s hip hop legends The Legion of Doom, who paved the way for local acts in San Diego, to the more recent platinum recording rock stars Payable On Death (P.O.D.). Mikeski’s diverse musical background enables him to transcend boundaries, bringing forth some of the most unique sounds in the world of music. His production skills stem from the early influence of legendary groups from both the west and east coast. These skills transitioned perfectly into his DJ’ing abilities bringing him to the forefront of not only southern California but the entire nation. His performance roster includes everyone from the legendary king’s of hip hop Run Dmc to the west coast’s own Snoop Dogg. From producing to DJ’ing Mikeski has added countless concerts tours, nightclubs, award shows and radio mix shows to his resume. From the nightclubs of Southern California, Las Vegas and numerous venues across the nation to a #1 radio mix show in San Diego XMOR 98.9 FM. Mikeski has seen every facet of this musical genre.
